JPIIHS December 2020 Newsletter

Last month of the End-of-Year Campaign!

The End-of-Year Campaign, Building a Beacon of Light, is the biggest fundraiser that we will embark on this year, and it is vitally important to our operation as a school.

Thank you so much to those of you who are already supporting and praying for our school. We are so grateful that you have joined us in our mission of making Catholic high school an option for families in Northern Colorado!

If you would like to learn more about the school and its specific fundraising needs, please visit our donate page or email our Executive Director, Liz Yeh, at LYeh@chestertonjpii.org to learn more.

What Our Students Are Singing

On Fridays, the students come together for the Music and Choir class. This semester has focused heavily on learning Gregorian Chant, the ancient music of the Church. The Students learned Salve ReginaPater NosterO Salutaris HostiaTantum Ergo, and are now working on Advent/Christmas music such as Veni, Veni Emmanuel and Alma Redemptoris Mater. It is an excellent way to familiarize students with music as we gear up to learn music history in the coming semester.
