Our Mission:
St. John Paul II High School fulfills the Great Commission of Jesus Christ by partnering with parents to form students deeply in the Catholic faith and to provide an enriching classical education rooted in truth, beauty, and goodness. Our graduates are men and women of courageous faith, strong intellect, and virtue, freely offering themselves in service to God and others.
Our Vision
Our school is here to complete its mission in the hopes of bearing many fruits, including:
- The reinvigoration of family values in our schools and in our homes throughout Northern Colorado
- The renewal of religious life leading to an increase in vocations
- Establishing a practice of genuine Classical education in Northern Colorado
- For our students to lead in the creation and cultivation of Catholic community at their future universities, workplaces, parishes, and families
- That our students, faculty, and families show the world the contagious joy of Christ so that those around them may see it and want it for themselves
Our Catholicity
St. John Paul II High School operates as an independent, non-profit organization cooperating with the Archdiocese of Denver. The school opens with the blessing of Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila and is officially recognized as an independent Catholic school. The Archdiocese offers its support in helping to establish and promote the new school, oversees its Catholic mission and theology curriculum, and has representation on the school’s governing board.
Our Founding
After years of prayer and work, the St. John Paul II High School, the first and only Catholic high school in Northern Colorado, opened its doors in Windsor, CO on August 17, 2020!
We are deeply thankful to our gracious hosts at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, who house us as we work to build our own campus.
