Academics at St. John Paul II High School
The first pillar of JPIIHS is the strong academic core.
Ours is a curriculum centered on the historical progression of Man with an emphasis on the great thinkers and authors of Western Tradition. Beginning with the earliest written documents and working steadily towards the modernity, the four year program of JPIIHS ultimately helps students to engage with the most fundamental questions of humanity.

Students engage with philosophical and theological questions in their Humanities courses, they pursue the heart of reason within their science and math programming.
Our programing takes students from antiquity to the present, giving them the tools to follow the arguments and ideologies that have informed modernity to the place we are now in present-day America. And, with SEM courses ranging from astronomy and algebra to calculus and physics, our students have a comprehensive education to prepare them for the steps beyond high school.
